Chilli Paneer: A Spicy and Flavorful Indian Dish

Chilli paneer is a popular Indian dish made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) that is cooked in a spicy tomato-based sauce. It is a quick and easy dish to make, and it can be served as an appetizer or a main course.

Ingredients:

* 1 block of paneer (about 250 grams)
* 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
* 2 teaspoons of coriander seeds
* 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
* 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
* 1 teaspoon of garam masala
* 1 medium onion, chopped
* 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
* 1 green bell pepper, chopped
* 1 red bell pepper, chopped
* Salt to taste

Instructions:

1. Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds to the oil and cook for 30 seconds, or until they start to sizzle.
4. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala to the oil and cook for 1 minute, or until the spices are fragrant.
5. Add the onion, tomatoes, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
6. Add the paneer cubes to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes, or until they are heated through.
7. Add salt to taste.
8. Serve the chilli paneer immediately with rice or naan bread.

Tips:

* For a spicier dish, add more red chili powder to taste.
* To make the dish vegetarian, use tofu instead of paneer.
