For the mashed potatoes:

* 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 1/4 cup sour cream
* Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. To make the meatballs, combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Form into 1-inch meatballs. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
3. To make the stroganoff, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
4. Add the onion and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
5. Gradually whisk in the beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
6. Stir in the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes more.
7. To make the mashed potatoes, place the potatoes in a large pot of cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain the potatoes and mash them with a potato masher.
8. Add the milk, butter, and sour cream to the mashed potatoes and stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. To serve, spoon the stroganoff over the mashed potatoes and top with the meatballs.

* For a richer flavor, use a combination of ground beef and ground pork to make the meatballs.
* You can also add other vegetables to the stroganoff, such as carrots, celery, or peas.
* If you don't have sour cream, you can use plain yogurt instead.
