Chetna Makan Takes Over the Good Food App This October

Michelin-starred chef Chetna Makan has been announced as the new face of the Good Food app, taking over from culinary legend Jamie Oliver this October.

Makan, who won the 2016 series of The Great British Bake Off, will be bringing her own unique style and expertise to the app, which offers a wide range of recipes, cooking tips, and meal inspiration.

Makan is a passionate advocate for home cooking and has a wealth of experience in creating delicious and accessible recipes. She is also a keen supporter of sustainable and ethical food practices.

"I'm so excited to be joining the Good Food team," said Makan. "I've always been a fan of the app, and I'm looking forward to sharing my own recipes and cooking tips with its users."

Makan's takeover of the Good Food app is part of a wider plan to make the app more inclusive and representative of the diverse range of people who love to cook.

"We're thrilled to have Chetna on board," said Good Food editor-in-chief Jane Hazell. "She's a talented chef with a unique perspective on food, and we're confident that she'll be an inspiration to our users."

Makan's first recipes for the Good Food app will be available from October 1st.
